Pam Reynolds
Self-taught painter working with warmth, fabric, florals and acrylic.
Artist Statement
Pam Reynolds is a self-taught artist whose lifelong love of painting began at the age of thirteen, when a neighbour gifted her a well-loved set of paints. That small act of kindness sparked a creative journey that has continued for decades. With no formal training, Pam has gently and intuitively refined her style over the years, allowing her surroundings and life experiences to shape her artistic voice.
Working primarily with acrylics, Pam is never afraid to explore new mediums and techniques. She approaches each canvas with a sense of curiosity and quiet confidence, often inspired by the natural world, delicate florals, and the soft, intricate folds of fabric. As a young mother, she delighted in illustrating her children’s school projects—welcoming the imaginative challenges they brought and using them as yet another outlet for her creativity.
Though Pam modestly underplays her talent, her work speaks volumes. Each piece is a testament to her dedication, patience, and joy in the process. Her paintings offer a gentle window into a life lived creatively—full of colour, warmth, and heart.
